"The ads are false advertising, it's nothing like a dark pokemon game. If you have money you don't mind blowing on a mobile game, it's fun. If you don't have money though or are easily addicted to spending money, stay away. This game is designed to give you a taste and let you complete the first act without much effort, but quickly becomes a wait a day and play once or drop 30-50 dollars a day to actually progress within the game."
"It's kind of a bummer that it's a pay for game with such heavy monetization, but the game itself is pretty fun so far. but don't be fooled, it is a gotcha game through and through. if you think catching wild monsters will get you through, you are wrong. Repair for a game like all the rest out there, pay to get better monsters, just without the constant ads like others."
"I keep getting stuck on the ad that pops up every time you enter a server. I open the game, start the game, click past the news and past the ads and the final advertisement will keep the entire screen frozen, you can't click outside for more than a second before it pops up again. I need to close the game and open it again and hope it doesn't happen again. Super annoying."
"its like a cheap, less fun ripoff of pokemon. gacha is very bad. touch control is bad. there's no exploring, everything is fixed. menus/teams are so convoluted they're confusing. graphics are poor, female characters are almost nude (cant change it), and you are set up for failure unless you get lucky at your first gachas or you purchase stuff. overall its a very big disappointment as a "premium" game. buy buy and more buy. ugh!"
"I really want to like this game. The art is really good with new content released frequently enough. The gameplay doesn't have too much of learning curve and even early on the battles are challenging to win. My issue is the pay structure. In particular, there is one item in the shop that is meant for new players but can only be bought with real world money. That's fine. But because you get so few gems when you use real world money, you would have to spend $24!! I'd like to see this changed!"
