"Fun, clever, predatory I really love the core of this game. A match puzzle battler where different monsters have different synergies and you also have to manage the placement of your units within the puzzle. I don't mind the grind because each run feels like a new puzzle. What I do mind is how immediately and loudly this game screams for money. Packs, boosters, game pass esc mechanics, even events want me to tap that pay now button. Even as a brand new player it's hard to sift through"
"I've been playing this game for a few years now. While I get the objective, it lacks something significant. Not a single thing is explained. I've seen other reviews that touch on the same thing and developers have never addressed it. It's also saturated with various ways to spend your money, so there's that.. There needs to be a legend, detailing what each "attribute/power-up" does, because, as of now, it's near impossible to play strategically, when it's not clear what each "power" does!"
"The monetization in this game is awful and constantly in your face. In order to buy everything available it would cost you over $1,200. I sat down and did the math. Every time you open the game there's multiple pop ups for things to buy. Progress is slow and tedious. You have to grind levels and the farther you get the longer you have to grind to beat the next level until your stuck on level 6 for days. Do not play this game waste of time."
"Not too bad of a concept for gameplay, but execution couldn't be worst. Even at chapter 2 (with chapter 1 basically being the tutorial chapter), enemies become too tanky for the resources and starting equipment you're given. You end up having to fail multiple times with not much resources collected after each fail, plus an ad after each one too. It doesn't help that the "free" daily rewards in the shop requires you to watch 8 ads for them all. Look elsewhere for a good game, this isn't nearly"
"The concept of the game is truly incredible, but the creators of the game have absolutely ruined it. Getting any unit higher than S is impossible without spending over one HUNDRED dollars. This is ridiculous; I was willing to spend money on the game, but these prices have driven me, and many other players, away from spending on the game."
