"Boxing Star is a good game, don’t get me wrong. The gameplay is fun and engaging. However, like many mobile games, it heavily leans toward a pay-to-win model. If you're thinking about playing this game for free, be prepared for a frustrating experience. Progress slows down significantly, and you're at a major disadvantage without spending real money. It’s unfortunate because the core mechanics are solid, but the monetization ruins the balance."
"Do not play. I loved it at first. It's fun! Even spent about $15 to level up faster. Now it's unbeatable. I'm always matched against foes of a way higher level. I can't win a match in any mode at all. The only way for me to progress is to spend more money. It's a CASH GRAB! This game has great graphics and gameplay, but they're just luring you in to get your money. I'm deleting it off my phone now."
"Great game control and graphics, My only beef now is not enough upgrade items to help you advance in the game. Daily rotation gives upgrade items but you never make enough money to buy enough to upgrade. Store items is never available now that I'm at a higher level, the game gave me better things to buy when I first started. Getting frustrated to the point of quitting. Check stats after each time you level up for a increase. My stats are stuck."
"Really enjoy Boxing Star BUT...The game was already expensive, yet every new thing you add cost more money and is a necessity to continue to play at level with others. I work so hard and spend a lot of money to be able to upgrade to the "grade up" point but then I cannot grade up because I dont have "anywhere" near enough parts, AFTER all that I have done and spent to get to that point to grade up. Great game, but without money and the packages it is damn near impossible for me to level up 😔!"
"The game isn't bad, but it isn't great either. If Google Play Store had 1/4 or 1/2 ratings the game would range between 2 3/4 to 3 1/4. The game pushes advertisements towards you and wants you to make a purchase. The deals aren't great but they'll massively increase the power od your character. The game requires little skill unlike actual boxing, it just takes time, effort, and dedication towarss getting the league rewards and daily skills."
