Lost Lands 3

About this game

An exciting adventure of a brave girl who found herself in a fantasy world. She has to find a way to stop the cursed beasts awakened after sleeping for a thousand years and coming to life for reasons unknown.

Lost Lands: the Golden Curse is an adventurous hidden object game-quest with puzzles and mini-games scattered through the boundless spaces of the fantasy world – from the volcano valleys to the Druid forest, from the deep caves to the floating islands.

One fine day an ordinary good-looking housewife, Susan, while visiting the museum of arts drops by an old looking glass which, for whatever reason, starts to beckon her up. When she touched the looking-glass, Susan was immediately transported into a magical fantasy world of the Lost Lands. She has been known for her heroic deeds as Susan the Warrior there.
Susan meets a child named Fiora, and the girl takes Susan to her great-grandfather, Maaron. Susan recognizes the Druid as an old acquaintance. Maaron explains that the village was attacked by a Harpy, the legendary winged beast. The strangest thing is that the demon has been a stone statue in the abandoned old fort for thousands of years.
Along with her friends Susan is ready to set forth into a volcano, go to a dungeon and climb floating islands to find out the reason why the Harpy, Naga, the Minotaur and Solidus, one after another, began coming to life from the stone prison and causing chaos in the Lost Lands. Naturally, the creatures must be stopped...

"An olden style adventure game - they are the best! Quite difficult, but if you examine each place in detail and try to combine even non-plausible things, you can do it! I highly recommend it to people looking for an intelligent game with an interesting story line. There's no ads, and there are walkthroughs on the net when you get stuck."

"Really great art, including some great cut scenes. Puzzles are very hit-and-miss. Part of point-and-click adventure fun is using logic to figure out the puzzles, but so many of them are just random and completely illogical. It's also irritating when the tool you need was exactly like the one you threw away a few puzzles ago."

"Played the first 2 and now I'm fully engrossed in the 3rd. This is a great series. Puzzle difficulty is perfect. Not so easy that it's boring, but not too hard to be frustrating. Story isn't anything special, but the gameplay is very satisfying and lasts a decent length if time. Definitely seeing myself playing the entire series."

"This game was an improvement in visuals.. but that is where my praise ends. I had to restart the game when I was forty-three percent of the way in because it bugged out. Then, throughout the rest of it, it kept lagging - which was so frustrating. And the direction of where to go was often so vague, half of the puzzles felt like a chore, and, honestly, it was the first one of the series I felt tempted to not even do the extra story for. However, the main story is good. The extra story is alright."

"Typically the Lost Lands games are quite high quality. This one is very disappointing and might be worth skipping. The pixel hunting and moon logic is turned up to 11, many tools are thrown away before they could be reasonably used for other puzzles, and one screen bugged for me requiring a walkthrough to tell me what I was already trying, which needed a game restart. The dialogue is also annoying in this one and has a few mistakes (Other characters saying "I need to solve this puzzle")."
