About this game
Cake Sort is a new kind of merge-sorting game. It's not match 3 puzzles, it's match 6 with fun and addictive color-sort gameplay. Not murmurous as water sort, nor twittering as bird sort, but cake sort takes you into a bakery where there are hundreds of 3D colorful cake and pie slices to sort and combine. As a cake maker, try to sort the colored slices on the glass plate until having a completely yummy cake to serve customers.

"Picked it up because the interactive ads made it seem fun and relaxing. And unlike some mobile ads, they were right. My one gripe, though, is the poorly executed Cloche mechanic found mainly in bonus levels where a coche covers a random cake and makes it inaccessible temporarily. Like it's not bad when there's only 2, but you quickly run into levels where there's four, & your only options are to either spend 90% of your time watching ads for an item, or quickly game over in less than 5 turns."
"I'm enjoying the game and it does get quite difficult. There's a quite a bit of ads but not unbearable as they are short. Where I kind of get annoyed is that (as far as I can tell) the only way to sync your account is via your avatar but you can't access the avatar until you are at level 3. Which is annoying if you're setting up a new device. I wish this synced automatically in my settings via my Google play account. Or at least sync with Facebook without having to upload/dl from the cloud."
"12/21/23: All the ads! You played for 2 minutes, break time. You didn't want that cake? Ok, here's an ad instead. Cleared a level, you need an ad to celebrate. We understand if people don't buy your packs, you gotta make $ someway, but ads is not the way to go. More & more games are having to resort to this understandably, but this is why people are having frustrations & uninstalling these type of games, like myself. 7/13/25: Tried it again, just to see. Still stand by my first review in 2023"
"I did find the gameplay fun. However, there are ads that play for every single milestone you reach in the game. Then, they force "ad breaks" after every few rounds, no matter what. It's always two ads that each take 3-4 clicks to exit. Next, the ad bar on the bottom is very touchy and will open to the ad site if you touch anywhere near it. I do understand the reason for ads, but if a company overloads their game with ads just to get people to pay for ad-free, that's shady to me."
"ads during play. you are told that it's time for an ad break. you have to watch 4 ads while playing one level. one to start the level, one while playing the level, one for rewards, and one at the end. WAY TOO MANY ADS. THERE ARE LITERALLY MILLIONS OF GAMES, WHY WOULD YOU SPEND SO MUCH TIME WATCHING ADS!!! The game isn't really that much fun. The reward games cheat. If you land on 5x the rewards, it gives you 4x or 3x. What ever it feels like giving."
